Burpday at Flavor 19
It was Merr's birthday this week, and we went to the new Flavor 19 restaurant to celebrate. Great food and drinks, and company I must say. I had gnochhi with gorgonzola sauce and candied pecans. Yum!
This is what we got Merr: frame from Laura Moore's shop, Finder's Keepers, with print from a book, The Owl and the pussycat. Cute.
Mark surprised Merr with the bunny lamp she wanted from Anthropologie but couldn't get shipped to Canada.

Bike bike bike
I got my new bike, and it's finally a decent temperature to ride it. These were just blackberry shots on a ride around Point Edward/Northwest Arm. One of my favorites.
I'm going to take a CANBIKE II course- teaches basic mechanical fixes, defensive driving in traffic and I think a bit of medical info. Always good to brush up, usually something new to learn.

Leftovers
Well just some odds and sods that didn't have a spot in a post!
I got caught in a snowstorm while driving home after that hike! Luna was with me and didn't have a care in the world and I was a nervous nellie. However, we made it home safe and sound and had some hot cocoa. Well I did, anyway. I didn't want to poison Luna.
The hike was good, met some new folks and didn't get lost. It was cold as hell by the water, but beautiful. Beaches can be appreciated in any season, just for shorter bursts in January! I would highly recommend that hike, but the beach is hard walking for a long period.
