Grad is rad

Merrideth and I went to grad night, which was way more fun than anticipated! Tom Fun was playing, Pauly the malamute was onstage, and we played Buck Hunter. It was nice to see everyone so happy.

Just made it home from Winnipeg, it was a pretty good trip all in all. Stayed at the historic Fort Garry Hotel, which was pretty, swank, and haunted. I did not want room 202, so ended up on the 6th floor.

Went to the zoo with Nacho, and did some shopping with Lynne and a few of the other gals. Also made it to Mardi Jazz at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain, and saw Derek Ullenboom, which was pretty awesome. Equally awesome, was the Maudite beer they had, which we can't get here.

I ate way too much- highlight was seared tofu at Fude (complete with a server with 'tude, but which was soon forgotten due to mass amounts of honey lavender ice cream) and all you can eat Indian buffet at Ivory. Yum! Even the cafeteria veggie burgers for lunch were good (though guessing not very healthy).

I came home to freshly painted/wallpapered hallways, and my paintings from Becky should be arriving tomorrow. How nice!
